In the early 2000s, information technologies entered a new era with incredible speed. This period was characterized by the dramatic development of the Internet, mobile technologies, and cloud computing. It was also marked by the emergence of giants like Google, Amazon, and Facebook, which became the drivers of digital transformation. 

However, if we compare the current situation in the IT industry with what we had at the beginning of the 21st century, we see that the evolution was tremendous. Today, information technologies do not just support business processes but have become their key components. From the development of autonomous vehicles to cloud computing and artificial intelligence - information technologies penetrate all spheres of life.

According to the Information Technology and Innovation Foundation for 2023, investment in IT has reached new heights. The growing interest in data processing is one of the most notable trends. Organizations are increasingly understanding the value of data and are actively innovating ways to analyze it to make grounded decisions. 

In the context of global trends, it is crucial to pay attention to the state of IT in our country. According to the Global Innovation Index 2023, Azerbaijan is also progressing significantly. It is partially due to the improvement of communication infrastructure and the development of the digital economy. 

Thus, in 2019, our company successfully implemented a solution for the development and implementation of an analytical system (Business Intelligence—BI) and corporate data warehouses (Data Warehouse—DWH) in Pasha Bank and won a tender for implementing a similar system in the Innovation and Supply Center of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Azerbaijan earlier this year.
